Overcoming the hardships of Partition, the Kharbanda family brought not only their memories but also a deep-rooted connection to their homeland. Upon settling in Ludhiana, they re-established their business under the same name Lyallpur Walian Di Hatti, on Gokul Road near Kesar Ganj, Ludhiana as a tribute to their love for Lyallpur.
Under their leadership Surinder Kharbanda and Naveen Kharbanda, the shop flourished, becoming an iconic name in Ludhiana, known for its authentic Indian sweets, savory snacks, and desi ghee-based delicacies. Today, Rohit Kharbanda, son of
